What do we need? ... A dozen candles for cakes or small ones, a package of thin polyethylene (they sell for shelters), three slats, an apparatus for gluing polyethylene (or just an iron), scotch tape, and hands.
We unfold the film, make a square folded in half, measuring about 2 by 2 meters. Total film length 4 meters, width 2 meters.
The edges of the film are glued with an apparatus or an iron (through paper).
It turned out a bag
We proceed to the installation of the propulsion system. These will be ordinary candles. We lay them out on the longest rail, we melt them with the apparatus so that they do not crumble. And we sail them to the rail.
And now we begin assembling the aircraft! First, we assemble the supporting structure. We put a long rail on the table, candles up. Fasten short rails on the sides. Than? Yes, even with glue or tape.
We fix the ball to the supporting structure. On the edges we fix with glue or tape.
All! Ready to launch! We go to the launch pad and start the countdown! Raise the edge of the ball and set fire to the "engine" - candles. Be careful, the flame should not touch the film, otherwise the ball will burn.
The ball is ready to launch! Now we release it and follow the news - the next UFO flight.
Typically, such balls take off very high and are carried away by air for several kilometers. Good luck to all balloonists!
On Halloween, you can draw a face on a ball with black paint. When launched in the dark, such a ghost aircraft will look very impressive.
