To make a dragon, you will need the following materials and tools: mounting foam, wire, pearl buttons for eyes, newsprint, white paper napkins or white single-layer toilet paper, PVA glue, white water-based paint, color yellow and blue, soldering iron, knife, large sandpaper , brushes of different widths (no more than 5 cm), a container for glue.
1. First you need to make a wire frame. The wire for each part of the body is bent separately, and then, connected to each other by twisting, and then in some places is fixed with a soldering iron. Once the frame is ready, you need to apply the first layer of mounting foam and wait for it to dry.

2. Next, apply another 2-3 layers of foam of different thickness on the figure, focusing on the future appearance of the dragon: more in the chest, hind legs, base of the tail. When all the layers of foam have dried out well, cut off the excess with a knife, giving the figure a streamlined shape. If something superfluous is cut off, it is possible to foam again. Then process the skin.

3. Process the workpiece with PVA glue. Dilute the glue with water in a container in a ratio of 1: 2. Pieces of newsprint, impregnated in a solution, glue the dragon, achieving a leveling surface. Thus apply several coats.
4. Head modeling is best started with the eyes. Stick (or glue) the buttons on the sides. From impregnated newsprint, flagella are twisted and attached to undiluted glue in the form of upper and lower eyelids. Crossing points are also smoothed out with pieces of paper. In the same way, the nostrils and the upper and lower jaws are modeled. For horns, pieces of wire are wrapped with soaked flagella in the form of a cone, fixed with glue and stuck into the head. Then they are also hardened and aligned with pieces of paper.

5. For wings (both small and large) you will need to make a frame. Fold the pieces of wire with a fan and fasten with a soldering iron. The free ends of the wire are also connected together by pieces curved in an arc. Solder. Solder 2 pins on large wings, on which they will subsequently be attached to the body. On the small one is enough. Wrap the frame with toilet paper and saturate it well with PVA glue with a brush. After drying, gently glue the wings on all sides with impregnated newsprint. It will take several layers, each of which must dry. Stick the finished wings in the body. Fix the joints and align them with paper.

6. Spikes should be inserted along the tail. They are made in the same way as horns, and then stuck into the figure, fixed and aligned.

7. Paint the dried dragon with white paint in 2 layers. When the paint dries well, dilute the colors in separate containers, achieving the desired color saturation. Colorize the dragon, leaving white whites of the eyes.
