During operation, scratches often appear on the surface of aluminum parts and, of course, they are susceptible to oxidation.
To restore the aluminum parts to their original appearance, they must be polished.

The main stages of work
First of all, using a paint wash and a metal brush, you need to remove the old factory coating on the parts.
In the next step, the surface of the parts must be sanded with rough sandpaper (P220).
With the help of a file for metal, the author removes the flash formed after factory casting.
Then the surface will need to be treated with a grinder to remove traces of the file.
Next, we wet the surface of the aluminum part with water and clean it with P400 sandpaper. Then comes the sandpaper P600 and P1000.
At the last stage of grinding, the author uses sandpaper P2000. Grind necessarily with water.
Then it remains only to polish the aluminum parts to shine with polishing wheels and paste. This process does not require haste: the final result directly depends on the quality of polishing.
