In this review, the author shares the idea for the home workshop (garage) - how to make a universal handle-holder for files.
To make this homemade product you will need three pieces of a metal strip (or you can cut parts from a plate), two bolts with nuts and a piece of a round pipe.
The first thing we cut off is two blanks from a strip of metal. We drill two holes in each plate.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, the author cuts another workpiece from a strip of metal. We weld it to one of the two plates at an angle of 90 degrees.
The edges of the workpieces are processed on a grinding machine or grinder with a petal circle. Then we connect together with bolts and nuts.
Next, cut a piece of round metal pipe. In it, using a grinder (or, for example, a drill) with a cutting disc, you need to make a triangular cut.
After that, we weld a piece of pipe to the plate, which is welded perpendicular to the clamping jaws.
In such a handle-holder, you can insert both whole files and fragments without a shank. Therefore, this homemade product can be called universal.
