Need to fix two pieces of plywood or OSB (or, for example, weld steel plates together) at an angle of 90 degrees? To do this, you can use a simple home-made conductor to connect the workpieces at a right angle.
To make this homemade product, you will need a square 15 * 15 mm, a stud with a diameter of 8-10 mm, as well as two wing nuts. The materials, as you see, are quite affordable, so making this stray will not be any problem.
The first step is to cut off two pieces of a square of the same length. Then they must be welded together at a right angle, after having bevelled. Thus, the basis of the homemade device is ready.
The process of manufacturing a corner conductor
After welding, we clean the welds with a grinder. On each side of the device you need to make five through holes at an equal distance from each other. Additionally, the master processes the drilled holes with a countersink.
After that, you need to cut off two short pieces of the square, and drill one hole in them. Next, you need to bend the hairpin at an angle and cut off two identical L-shaped workpieces from it.
At the last stage, the assembly of the device is performed. Not so much time was required. For details on how to make a simple home-made conductor for connecting workpieces or parts at an angle of 90 degrees, see this video.
