In this case, the author uses a beer barrel of 5 liters as a basis. Also, to make a homemade hearth, you will need a piece of plastic sewer pipe, a piece of metal pipe, bolts with nuts and a gas burner.
The first step is to cut a hole in the lower and upper parts of the barrel. To do this, you can use a drill, grinder or conventional metal scissors.
And note that in the upper part of the beer barrel, the opening should be larger in diameter than in the lower, namely 110 mm.
The main stages of work
After two holes have been cut out, it will be necessary to cut another hole on the side of the barrel under the gas burner. The edges of the holes must be walked with a file or a grinding wheel.
The master uses long furniture bolts as legs. Before you need to drill four holes under them. The place where the faucet was installed, the author drowned with washers.
Next, a sleeve from a metal pipe is inserted into the side hole in the barrel, and a piece of plastic sewer pipe must be inserted inside.
But before that, it must be cut along, and the cut line should be sealed with tape. A round foam plug is inserted into the pipe.
At the next stage, it remains only to knead a solution of sifted sand and gypsum in a ratio of 1: 1. The solution should turn out to be liquid. Pour it into the barrel, and wait until it grasps. Then it will be necessary to get a plastic pipe, and wait for the gypsum to dry completely.
