Sometimes you have to face such a situation when you need to mix a large amount of cement-sand mortar (for bricklaying or plastering walls), but there is no way to use a concrete mixer.

In this case, you can do with a construction mixer. That's just a good nozzle for him are expensive, and staff, which are included, do not always cope with their duties.

That is, mix, but bad. With large volumes of work, you simply get tired of interfering. However, there is an alternative solution to this. You can make a simple homemade propeller-type nozzle for a construction mixer from a piece of steel pipe and sheet metal.

The main stages of work

First of all, we cut out the blade template for the nozzle from plywood. Then we cut four T-shaped blanks from sheet metal. This can be done as a grinder or a jigsaw with a file for metal, and a plasma cutter. The latter option is preferable, since the work will take less time.

We process finished parts with a manual grinder or with a belt grinder. Then it will be necessary to bend at an angle of 80-90 degrees of the edge of the transverse part of the workpieces. After that, it remains only to weld four blades to a steel pipe of suitable diameter.

The result is a simple homemade propeller nozzle for a construction mixer. If there is no mixer, you can make a similar nozzle on an electric drill, only smaller. See the video on the website for the step-by-step process of manufacturing this homemade nozzle.
