In the article we will tell you how to make a simple wheel lock from what is at hand with your own hands. In this case, we will use profile pipes. The main advantage of this home-made anti-theft device is its low cost compared to store counterparts.
Anti-theft for a car: manufacturing process
First, take a long piece of the profile pipe, mark and drill holes, not reaching the edge of 15-20 cm. Then we weld two short sections of the profile to this workpiece. Then we weld a vertical rack with two "paws" located at an angle of 45 degrees.
At the edges, perpendicularly, it is necessary to weld two L-shaped parts that are welded from profile scraps, and a support plate of a rectangular shape. Then we clean both parts of the construction with a grinder, after which we cover with 1-2 layers of spray paint from a spray can. Now the home-made anti-theft device is completely ready.
First, we put on the wheel the main part of the structure with "paws" and a support plate, then we insert the second part and fix it with a padlock.
