With the help of this device, which is easy to do with your own hands, using available materials for this, you can apply the adhesive solution to ceramic tiles of large sizes very quickly and most importantly - carefully.
To start work with a square, a ruler and a caliper, you will need to make markings on a sheet of metal (you can even use rust). Having picked up the grinder, we cut out two blanks of a triangular shape with a rounded edge.
Also for this device you will need other details (only already rectangular), which must be cut from a sheet of metal. When the basic structural elements are ready, their edges need to be filed to remove burrs.
Tool manufacturing process
We take one of the rectangular plates cut from a steel sheet, make markings from one edge, put “marks” with a core, and drill holes with a drill for metal (first a smaller and then a larger diameter).
Then the edges of the resulting holes must be sawed with a grinder to get the teeth, as on a construction spatula. After that, the surface of all the workpieces is cleaned with a grinder, and then you can already start welding work.
To the plate with a curved edge (the base of the fixture) we weld two triangular blanks parallel to each other. Then they need to spot-weld a rectangular steel plate with teeth, repeating the contour of the curve.
