Roasted chicken is a dish that will help out on weekdays and any holiday. The usual taste can be changed if the chicken is preliminarily marinated in beer and mustard marinade. You can cook any desired number of chickens in a beer marinade, the calculation is for one carcass weighing 0.9 - 1.0 kg.

In order to cook in the oven chicken in a beer marinade you need:
  • chicken weighing up to 1.0 kg;
  • beer, dark or light, 0.4 l;
  • garlic;
  • salt;
  • table mustard 3 - 4 tbsp. l .;
  • oil 50.0 ml;
  • pepper and spices as desired.

1. Wash, dry and cut the bird carcass along the back. Expand the chicken and crush it with your hand, giving it the most flat shape.

2. Prepare the marinade by combining beer, oil, salt, mustard, chopped garlic and pepper to taste.

Beer can be taken both light and dark. In dark beer, the chicken acquires a richer hop flavor, while in light beer, the taste is slightly milder.
3. Lower the chicken into the marinade of beer and mustard. If fried chickens are being prepared for a banquet or picnic, you need to marinate the chickens in the right amount. For small carcasses, the calculation is one chicken in two portions. The number of products for marinade is also increasing.
4. Chicken should be pickled in beer and mustard for several hours, at least 4-5, so pickling should be taken care of in advance.

5. Put the pickled chicken in a mold, pour the same half of the marinade there. Put the chicken in the oven for 30 minutes.

After that, if the liquid has evaporated, pour the chicken with the remaining marinade.
Continue baking for another 20 - 25 minutes.

Put the finished chicken in beer and mustard on salad leaves and serve.

Chicken meat is a source of high-grade protein, so chicken should be on the family menu.
