Cleaning the roof of snow is a very laborious and tedious task. And to facilitate the work, you can make your own hands a simple but convenient device. With it, you can remove snow directly from the ground without climbing onto the roof.
First of all, it will be necessary to cut a piece of galvanizing sheet suitable for the length. A knife for cutting snow will be made from it in the form of a rectangular frame.
The main stages of work
Next, you will need to weld the knife holder. For this, the master uses a profile tube of square section 15 * 15 mm. Another piece of profile (pipe) 30 * 30 mm is then welded to the holder.
At the next stage, mounting holes are drilled in the “paws” of the knife holder. Then the knife is attached to the holder with bolts and nuts.
After that, it remains only to fasten two wheels on the sides to the galvanized frame, as well as two brackets with holes in which the stud is inserted.
