Using a regular sponge (washcloth), you can easily and quickly decorate the walls "under the brick", without making markings. This style of interior is very similar to the Loft style, it looks very simple, but at the same time, in its own way original.
This idea is very easy to implement - no special skills are required for this. Brick walls can be decorated both in an apartment or a private house, and in the country. There are two simplest options for decorating indoor walls.
Option one
To make an imitation of a brick wall, you need a sponge or washcloth of a rectangular shape. First of all, we pour paint of a suitable color into a plastic container.
Dip in the paint the end and the edge of the washcloth. Using a spatula, remove excess paint, apply a washcloth to the wall and press.
They made one “brick”, the second, the third ... And so we go through the entire wall: from left to right and from top to bottom. The result is a characteristic pattern - imitation of brickwork.
Please note that an incomplete color fill (print) creates the desired visual effect. The surface of the wall, if desired, can be coated with a matte varnish or leave as is.
Second option
In this case, to create an imitation of a brick wall on the surface, you need to use the widest part of the washcloth. Wet the sponge with paint and remove excess with a spatula.
We attach to the wall and press on the washcloth. The result is a larger masonry - an imitation of brick blocks.
Everything is very simple and effective. Which option to use, you decide. In any case, the interior will become original and unique. For details on how to decorate the walls "under a brick" using a sponge, see the video on the site.
