Original and practical stools made of metal and wood have long become an integral attribute of the arrangement of the kitchen space and the country house. And they received the greatest distribution in small rooms in which there is no opportunity to place more dimensional furniture.
If you are a supporter of budget, but at the same time - unusual ideas, make yourself a comfortable stool from wooden pallets and fittings. Do not think that such work is too complicated. It is enough to have the necessary materials and tools at hand, as well as to have basic welding skills. This creative process will require minimal costs and bring a lot of positive emotions.
Making an original stool: work stages
First of all, we disassemble the pallet on the boards. We pull out nails and staples from them, and then plan, pass through the thicknesser and saw off to size. The resulting wooden blanks need to be glued together. In the process of gluing, you can alternate light and dark boards to get an unusual "pattern". After the glue dries, we pass the wooden shield through the thicknesser and cut it.
Then we do the marking, cut the four corners on a circular saw and process the edges with a hand milling cutter. Next, from the inside of the seat, we make a groove around the entire perimeter for the diameter of the reinforcement. From pieces of reinforcing bars we assemble a figured frame, and then we attach a seat to it. Such a stool looks very original. The whole process of work can be seen in the video on the site.
