If there is not enough free space on the desktop to conveniently place a grinding machine (emery) on it, then we can offer a simple alternative. You can make, for example, a metal stand-stand.
It does not take up much space in the home workshop, and allow you to install emery as compact and convenient as possible. For its manufacture, affordable and inexpensive materials will be required - they are available in almost every workshop or garage.
First of all, it is necessary to cut a round disk of the desired diameter from a sheet of metal. This will be the base of the rack. Then in the disk you need to drill four holes on the drilling machine, but first you need to do the marking with a marker.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, it is necessary to cut a rectangular plate - a platform for an emery machine. And in it it will be necessary to drill two holes on the sides.
Next, you need to cut a piece of steel pipe with a diameter of 80 mm of suitable length (depends on what height you want the grinding machine to be located). The pipe is welded to the disk, and is further reinforced by four plates.
A rectangular platform under the grinding machine is welded to the top of the pipe. After this, it remains only to clean the welds with a grinder.
