Camping with barbecue is often associated with the difficulty of making a fire from brushwood or coal briquettes (especially after rain). However, here a homemade hand blower comes to the rescue, which can be made from improvised materials with your own hands.
First of all, we take an empty metal tin can (for example, from a sprat), then mark the center at the bottom, and make a neat round hole. A miniature motor needs to be inserted into this hole on the outside of the can, and we fasten it to the case with three bolts.
Then we take a metal tube (a tube from a vacuum cleaner will do). Cut one end of the tube at an angle, apply this side to the side of the can, mark the outline. Cut a hole around which we grind to the marking. We attach the tube and solder it to the bank.
Homemade manufacturing process
In the next step, you will need to make a homemade fan that will blow air into the pipe. We put it on the electric motor - the blades should easily rotate on the axis. Then we remove the transparent plastic cover from the box for storing disks. With a knife, cut out the lid, in which we cut a hole in the center.
Glue this cover to the assembled blower body. Then we cut off the protruding parts of the lid with a knife. After that, we connect the power source (in this case, a lead-acid battery for 12V is suitable). Such batteries are used, for example, in uninterruptible power supplies.
We solder the switch and the connector for connecting the power cable to the engine. We connect the cable to the connector and turn on the fan. Homemade blower is ready. For details on how to assemble it with your own hands, see the video on the site.
